Ardentinny School Commemorative booklet

Kindly provided by Mr. John McIntyre a former pupil of the school (1947), this booklet was created by the 1992 pupils to commemorate the centenary of Ardentinny School. A fascinating record of 100 years of education in a small Argyll village. We'd very much welcome any originals of these or other photographs of the school and its pupils through the years. The last days of Ardentinny School

Ardentinny School classroom circa 1987 Ardentinny School closed in the late 90's, however, a high-profile campaign staged in the 1980's brought together villagers in an effort to retain the school, as shown in this TV documentary.
