Christmas Bazaar 2008

The Ardentinny weather was less than kind on Sunday 23rd when the Village Hall Committee hosted its Christmas Bazaar. However, 80 plus brave souls weathered the storm to enjoy what was on offer and, understandably, the mulled wine and mince pies were devoured in copious measure!
Handcraft supplies, linen, cards, jewellery, plants, books, candles & home baking were on offer and, predictably, the wooly bunnet stall did a roaring trade.
This year the charity Pets as Therapy (PAT) had a stall and raised a total of £138.22 (plus gift aid). For his donation, an astute young Scott Wilson from Glasgow successfully guessed the name of the reindeer as Pat, having watched the PAT video on display. Congratulations Scott! Pat, the reindeer, is now on its way to you.
